What Is The Definition Of Super-G In Skiing?
1. The Super-G, or Super Giant slalom, is an alpine skiing discipline where the main objective is to go through a fixed set of gates (or poles) on a downhill course. This is a speed event where the skier has to go through gates that are farther apart than the gates for the giant slalom, which is regarded as a technical event. The super-g races have a lower starting point that the one used for downhill races.
