Definition Of Omega Curve
1. The Omega curve is a large turn on a bobsled track that resembles the Greek letter Omega. It also resembles a horseshoe or the shape of a “W”.
Modern bobsled tracks are required to have at least one straight section and one labyrinth and could have up to fifteen curves, including an Omega turn. Some of these Omega curves can subject the crew to as much as 5-Gs and may exceed speeds of 75 mph.
