What Is The Definition Of Kickflip In Skateboarding?
A kickflip is a trick in which the skateboarder flips the board 360 degrees. The corner of the board is flicked with the front foot to achieve this rotation. The trick has variations with multiple rotations, such as the double kickflip or triple kickflip. This trick was invented by professional skateboarder Rodney Mullen.
Follow these steps to complete a kickflip:
- Place your front foot at a 45-degree angle just behind the front trucks and your back foot on the tail.
- Pop the board up and use your front foot to flick up over the corner of the nose to begin the board’s rotation.
- Once the board has completed a full rotation, land on it and roll away.
