What Is The Definition Of In-Turn?

1. An in-turn in curling is when the handle of the stone rotates across the body during a shot. This occurs when the elbow moves inside or “in” towards the body.

For example, for a right-handed thrower, the in-turn movement is made clockwise or they push their arm or move their wrist towards the left. For a left-handed thrower, the in-turn movement is counter-clockwise, or they move their arm or wrist towards the right.
