What Is The Definition Of Alignment In Golf?
1. This refers to the golfer’s body position in relation to the target line of the ball. When the golfer steps up to the ball, and has properly aimed their club-face to the target, their toes are parallel to the target line. This means that they are standing just left of the target, therefore their toes are parallel to the target line. The golfer’s feet, hips, knees and shoulders should all be lined up square (or parallel) to the target line in order to get the most accurate hit on the ball.
