This is turning into one memorable year for Russell Wilson.

First he wins the Super Bowl and now he owns the top spot for the NFL player who had the most overall product sales for the NFL this past season. According to Forbes.com, Wilson came out on top of the NFL Players Inc. (NFLPI) standings that was released today, where last year he was just at number 19. A Super Bowl win can do a lot for merchandise sales, as Wilson came out on top for overall sales for the third quarter last season.
Wilson wasn’t the only one from the Seattle Seahawks to make in the top 15. Teammates Marshawn Lynch came in at number 7 and Richard Sherman topped out at number 12.
Now let’s see if this trend continues into the new season and see how many bandwagon fans the Seahawks gain (or lose).
