This just in: Marshawn Lynch has spoken.
Well, he didn’t necessarily speak to the media by press conference, because that would require him to actually speak or learn sign language, so he chose the preferred outlet of many introverts.
Twitter.
Yes, Lynch put himself out there and spoke, er… tweeted his true feelings about a teammate getting fined for congratulating him.
I feel embarrassed to work for a particular organization that fined a teammate of mine for shaking my hand after a touchdown

I’m going to go out and assume that Lynch is referring to the NFL, and not the Seattle Seahawks, when referencing a “particular organization”. The NFL, according to Tom Pelissero of USA Today Sports, fined his teammate, wide receiver Chris Matthews, for grabbing his “junk” after Lynch scored.
#Seahawks WR Chris Matthews was fined $11,025 for grabbing his own crotch after the TD — not for shaking Marshawn Lynch's hand.

They also fined Lynch $20,000 for making an “obscene gesture” following a touchdown. I’m gonna go out on a limb and say the gesture was him grabbing his crotch for the second straight game since it’s pretty obvious in the picture above on what he’s doing.
As for Matthews, his gesture was not as noticeable… wait that sounded strange. You get the idea.
Two things are going through my mind when it comes to this topic.
- What’s with the Seahawks players doing their best Michael Jackson impression after touchdowns?
- I wonder which intern got tasked with the job of staring at players’ crotches after each play.
I bet the person described in number two will never look at the game the same again.
