We all wondered how much Johnny Manziel would sign for and now we know.
According to the National Football Post, the former Aggie signed a 4-year, $8.247 million contract with the Cleveland Browns. The team holds an option for a fifth year.
Now that the contract is done, the competing should start ramping up. Manziel is still battling for the starting QB slot with veteran Bryan Hoyer, but is expected by many to win the role sooner than later in the year.
Since we all know that the Browns will most likely name Manziel the starter, I’m more curious on when his next trip to Vegas with Rob Gronkowski will be and if this time he’ll be picking up most of the checks with his new cash flow.
Manziel’s social media accounts were relatively quiet today, which probably means he’s already putting that bonus to work.
