Remember in the movie “Rambo: First Blood Part II” when Rambo hides from the enemy by covering himself in mud? He was so convincing that even the audience didn’t know he was in the mud until Rambo opened his eyes.
I think that’s what John Boyett was going for.
Now a former member of the Denver Broncos practice squad, Boyett was arrested last Wednesday for head-butting and punching a cab driver. The best part of the whole thing is where the cops found Boyett.
He was found in a pile of mulch.
Yes. He channeled his inner Rambo and tried to cover himself up with mulch to elude the cops. And better yet, when the cops apprehended him, he told the officers to “contact his boss, John Elway.”
I think he would’ve had much better luck covering himself with leaves. They’re much easier to cover yourself with. Or better yet, he should’ve went back to him home and behind the curtains. It always worked in cartoons, I don’t see why it can’t in real life.
