Well, with Louisville done for the season, it looks like one of their players have already made decisions for next year.
Remember Kevin Ware? Name doesn’t ring a bell? Well, remember last year during the NCAA Tournament and the guy who broke his leg and the bone… oh, now you remember? I’ll give you a moment to compose yourself. Good? Okay.
Well, it looks like Ware has decided to transfer and finish out his college career somewhere else, according to ESPN.com.
Ware, who attempted a comeback this season, played in only nine games before re-injuring the same leg and decided to use a medical redshirt for the year. It appears he wants to play closer to home in Georgia, so some possible landing spots look to be Auburn and Georgia state.
Auburn looks to be a more interesting spot, since Ware once committed to new Auburn coach Bruce Pearl when he was at Tennessee.
You can’t blame him for wanting to play closer to home after that horrific injury. I wish the kid luck and hopefully he’s able to play a full, healthy season.
