Kobe Bryant is a pretty arrogant confident player, to say the least.
So when Bryant was on Jimmy Kimmel Live the other night and was asked, who he’d pick first to put on his team that couldn’t be himself, you could hear the gears grinding in his head. You know he wanted to say himself, but couldn’t. The person whom he chose was the probably a huge shocker to everyone.
The answer is within the three names below. I’ll give you a second to take a guess.
- LeBron James
- Kevin Durant
- James Harden
If you answered LeBron James, then you’re wrong. Kobe chose none other than James Harden. I know. Shocking. It’s also a player that plays the exact same position as Bryant.
Maybe Bryant sees a little of himself in Harden, who’s turned into an offensive monster ever since he got traded from the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Why Bryant would choose someone who doesn’t know how to play defense, I have no idea. Maybe he thinks if Harden gives up 30 points on one end of the floor, he’ll just score 50 himself to make up for it.
Check out the clip to also see how Bryant responded when asked if he’d ever play for the Los Angeles Clippers.
