If there’s anyone who could answer the question, “who’s better? Michael or LeBron?”, it would be this hall of fame player.
Hakeem Olajuwon sat down recently with CNBC.com and was asked who he thought was a better player, Michael or LeBron. The hall of fame center didn’t hold back on whom he thought was the best. Here’s what he said to CNBC’s Worldwide Exchange:
“When people start comparing him with Jordan then that’s not a fair comparison. Jordan was a far more superior player in a very tough league, he was very creative.”
“That’s not taking away anything from LeBron because he is a great player but it is not a fair comparison because Jordan is a far superior player.”
Olajuwon is as good of a candidate as any other person to answer this question. He not only played against Jordan during his prime, but he also helped to train James with his post moves a few years back. The same post moves that helped propel the Miami Heat to a championship.
Check out the video below for the full video. He also talks about what his most memorable moment was in the NBA, but to be honest, you’re really just going to watch it to see if he really said those things about Jordan and LeBron.
