If the Memphis Grizzlies aren’t your favorite team for their actions on the court, then they should be near the top of your list for their actions off it.
Recently the team’s personnel intern/assistant, Brandon, had his car stolen and the players wanted to do something to help him get some new wheels. Instead of buying Brandon a bus pass, the players chipped in and got him a new car Friday night. It was wrapped in a bow and everything.
It appears the car is a Mazda, but it’s not clear what model it is, but honestly it doesn’t matter. Any car is great if you are in a tough situation like this young man was in. The fact that the Grizzlies players had it in their hearts to help out a friend in need is very admirable. And if you look at the grateful reaction Brandon had on his face, he could careless what kind of car he was given either.
Great job, fellas. You really showed what the holidays should be about.
