If there’s one person in the NBA that knows LeBron James, it’s Dwyane Wade.
Before reuniting on the Cleveland Cavaliers this year, the two played together in Miami for four season, suited up a couple times for Team USA and have gone on countless family trips together. Needless to say, they’re probably best buds.
That’s why it’s safe to assume that when Wade says LeBron is the cheapest person in the NBA, it’s true.
In an interview with Rachel Nichols that is to air during Monday night football, Nichols asks James and Wade a serious of playful questions, that leads to Wade stating that LeBron is the cheapest player in the NBA.
“He ain’t using his phone if it ain’t Wi-Fi,” said Wade.
James admitted that he won’t pay for apps, Pandora without ads or use data roaming. He keeps life simple.
Well, if James won’t pay for apps, then it’s safe to assume he didn’t chip in for the now famous, banana boat ride of 2015.
