No, Blake Griffin did not actually buy an overpriced baby bed. He bought a house. A really, really nice house.
We’re not exactly sure when Griffin had the time to shop for a home, as he and the Los Angeles Clippers are in tough first round battle with the Golden State Warriors (the Clippers are up 2-1), but he did. Well, we’re pretty sure he didn’t do it alone. He has “people” to do these things for him, and did they ever do a nice job on finding him a sweet, new home.
The $9 million, Pacific Palisades home is more than enough for the 6’10 Griffin. With 9,100 feet of living space, it was once home to former LA Laker Vlade Divac and was recently rented to Chris Bosh, according to Realtor.com.
So what does $9 million dollars get you in this nice community just outside LA? A lot.
In addition to the 6 bedroom suites, it sits on three-acres of property and inside it a gym, a home theater with stadium style seating and three fireplaces.
I’m sure Griffin is also hoping the house comes with some of Chris Bosh’s championship luck.
