If you don’t foul Blake Griffin hard, you’ll end up on his highlight reel.
Griffin has been known to posterize pretty much anyone and anything that gets him in the way of the hoop. Because Griffin likes to leap over people, many players will foul him hard because most of them know that Griffin won’t retaliate. This has been a big knock on Griffin over the years. Here’s a big man in the league that gets hacked often, but who also rarely retaliates.
Players would say that they think Griffin is soft and is afraid to hit back when he’s floored.
Well, either Griffin was tired of being hit or tired of being called soft, but either way he appears to be sick of it. During the Los Angeles Clippers’ game against the Utah Jazz on Friday, Griffin exchanged some words with Trevor Booker after a hard foul.
The exchange of words was just the beginning. Check it out for yourself below. Maybe this is the first warning from Griffin to his opponents that he won’t be pushed over anymore.
