I don’t know what Hunter Pence did to get some of these weird taunts from fans, but I’m glad he did it.
It’s easy to taunt a player on the opposing team when he’s an All-Star like the San Francisco Giants outfielder, but the shots that the opposing fans have been taking at Pence lately have been none like I’ve ever seen before. First it started with the New York Mets at Citi Field during their most recent series with the Giants. Fans wrote on boards with messages such as, “Pence can’t shuffle playing cards” or “Hunter Pence eats pizza with a fork”. Both equally awesome, and others just as great.
The trend has now followed Pence to Milwaukee. During the Giants and Brewers game on Tuesday, the fans brought some more joy to the world.
Sign of the times? Looks like Hunter Pence isn't safe in Milwaukee either. #Brewers #MILvsSF pic.twitter.com/ByEVWqC7W7

In a strange way, I hope this follows Pence for the rest of the season. Not because I don’t like Pence, because I actually do. There’s no real logical reason why I want to keep seeing these signs, other than the fact that I just do.
I know, I’m sick. I know.
If you’re like me and want to read more of these signs, check out #HunterPenceSigns on Twitter. Even Pence has gotten in on some of the fun by posting pics of own.
