Michael Jordan primarily played the position of shooting guard (SG) during his time with the Chicago Bulls. Later in his career, he played the small forward (SF) position as a member of the Washington Wizards.
A very versatile and athletic player, Jordan played other positions on the court during his NBA career. He also played point guard (PG) at times, including the last 24 games of the season in 1989. While playing point guard, he had a streak of 10 triple doubles in 11 games. Though at 6’6” he was taller than most point guards of the time, he was able to excel at the position.
