Aaron Judge is an American baseball player for the New York Yankees known for his staggering ability to hit for power.
The bat that Judge uses, as of the 2022 season, is the AJ99 wooden bat designed by Chandler Bats.
The pro model AJ99, with its long barrel and huge sweet spot, features excellent balance. Judge has been swinging this 35-inch, 33-ounce Chandler bat since April 2017.
Prior to this, he used a 34-inch, 32-ounce bat in 2017 during his rookie season. He broke Mark McGwire’s Major League Baseball (MLB) rookie record of 49 home runs by hitting 52 home runs — finishing second in the MLB Most Valuable Player (MVP) Award voting that same year.
For an MLB player, Judge’s current bat is on the bigger side. But considering his 6’7″ frame, it’s no surprise he needs a larger bat than most.
Judge has also used a variety of bats from other major brands, including Marucci, Victus, and Louisville Slugger.
